Alison Perry has been Head of the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law at Swansea University since May 2021, and was head of the then Department of Law for six years before that. Alison has over twenty years’ experience in legal academia. She began her career working on externally funded, empirical research projects, and has a particular research interest in the legal response to international child abduction. Her teaching interests lie in Family Law and Property Law. Alison has held many different university roles over the years, including Associate Dean of the then Faculty of Business Economics and Law, and Director of Learning and Teaching. Alison is a member of the Executive Committee of the recently constituted Law Council of Wales, and sits on the Council’s Education and Legal Services Working Groups.
