
Kos is Dean of Bristol Law School within the College of Business and Law at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). Kos brings over 15 years of experience in UK higher education. Prior to joining UWE Bristol, he held academic and leadership roles at Canterbury Christ Church University and Aberystwyth University, where he developed expertise across legal education, programme development, and institutional strategy.
He is a qualified mediator and his research interests is at the intersection of law and technology, with a particular focus on the regulatory and practical implications of AI for legal practice and education as well as the ethical aspects of technology. Kos is co-convener of the University Alliance Law Schools Network and a board member of Bristol and Bath Legal Tech (BBLT), a not-for-profit network connecting law firms, tech companies, and educational institutions in the West of England.
Kos has developed active international partnerships with universities and organizations across South East Asia, supporting collaborative legal education
